become obsolete in California every day. eWaste already constitutes 2%
to 5% of the all US municipal solid waste stream and is growing rapidly;
it is estimated that the volume of eWaste is rising by 3% to 5% per
year. According to the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), more
than 3.2 million tons of eWaste end up in landfills yearly.
